E-Bullion-
By Digital Gold Card
March 15 --
E-Bullion: The Digital Gold Card has made some changes today in regards to which payment systems we will continue to accept.
By popular demand, we have chosen to provide an E-Bullion.com interfaced debit card.
You can now fund your Digital Gold Card with e-bullion gold, e-bullion silver, or e-bullion e-currency.
WHY E-BULLION?
e-Bullion is proud to offer its clientele the new CryptoCard Secure Password Technology system to protect their accounts from password theft.
It's a dangerous world out there filled with a lot of people who would like to get their hands on your gold bullion. While e-Bullion provides its customers with the most secure gold bullion system in the world, the weakest link in the security of your e-Bullion account is YOUR OWN COMPUTER.
Fraudsters and con artists know every trick in the book to get people to give up their account numbers and passwords, or steal them right off of your computer.
An account number accessed by a password alone really isn't secure enough to protect your money if you are accessing large quantities of funds through your computer.
For this reason, e-Bullion has teamed up with CRYPTOCard Secure Password Technology to offer you CRYPTOCard protection for your e-Bullion Account.
CRYPTOCard Secure Password Technology (SPT) positively authenticates anyone who tries to gain access to a secured network by coupling something the user has (a hardware, software or smart card token) with something only the user knows (a PIN). This 2-factor positive authentication solution ensures that "Bob is Bob".
In simple language this means that CRYPTOCard works with e-Bullion the same way your bankcard works at the ATM Machine.
You need BOTH the card AND the pin number in order to get the cash. This simple but effective combination was worked for the ATM industry for decades and now e-Bullion brings the same level of security to its customers.
Why Should I Use a CRYPTOCard?
The benefits from using the CRYPTOCard are:
- Peace of mind. You don't have to lose sleep at night worrying whether some hacker has cleaned out your e-Bullion account.
As long as the CRYPTOCard is in your wallet your money is perfectly safe.
- Access from Multiple Computers. Normally, it is dangerous to use your e-Bullion password from any computer but your own, because it might have keystroke recording software installed on it. This means that computers at the office, at a cyber cafe, and even your friend's computer are dangerous.
But with the CRYPTOCard your password changes every time. That means you can access your e-Bullion account from any computer secure in the knowledge that as soon as you log off of the e-Bullion site, no one else can use the password you just entered to access your account again.
- Simple to Use. The CRYPTOCard doesn't require the installation of any fancy software, plugs, or cords. Once you've ordered the card, there are a couple of simple initial instructions to follow and it will be fully functional and configured to protect your account. No wires, no CD's, no software installation - just simplicity and security.
How much it cost?
The CRYPTOCard costs $99.50. That is a mere fraction of the cost of a $5,000 safe. In combination with the e-Bullion system you get the safety of Brinks Global Security combined with the military strength encryption on the CRYPTOCard.
If you are using your e-Bullion Account to store more than $5,000 worth of gold, the security of the CRYPTOCard is definitely worth the expense.
How Do I Order a CRYPTOCard?
Use the ACCOUNT CENTER above to sign into your e-Bullion account and follow the "My CRYPTOCard Info" hyperlinks.
STILL ASKING WHY??
E-Bullion.com provides its own "outexchange" solutions meaning "you" and "we" do not have to worry about being defrauded or delayed by a
"third party" exchanger. It also means no "waiting" for "third party" exchangers to fulfill open order requests. Matter of fact, when dealing with E-bullion.com
there is no "middle man".
We hope you ENJOY and MAKE USE of our changes. We highly recommend E-Bullion.com for it's security and it's
"know your customer" policy. If you need any assistance converting other payment systems into E-bullion send us
a support ticket.

Omnipay Moving to Africa - Closed until June 18th.
By Digital Gold Card
May 25 --
Omnipay Moving: Start Omnipay Quote; OmniPay temporarily suspends exchange to transition to OmniPay Africa.
Effective immediately, G&SR will be leasing the OmniPay business to
OmniPay Africa. All OmniPay exchanges will now involve e-gold transfers
and money payments into/out of OmniPay Africa's e-gold and bank accounts
respectively. G&SR has contracted to serve as the Operator of OmniPay
but will not be a party to actual exchanges.
In terms of immediate impacts:
* The OmniPay exchange service will suspend operation pending
provisioning of a suitable bank account for OmniPay Africa. It is anticipated
this service interruption will start May 24, 2007 with service resuming
on or about June 18, 2007.
* With resumption, all bank wires from customers must be directed to
the new bank coordinates which will be posted on the omnipay.com
http://www.omnipay.com website.
The original plan was for OmniPay Africa to organize as a licensee of
G&SR, the US company that owns OmniPay. A substantial development effort
was underway to support the additional requirements for
over-the-counter exchange operations such as biometric validation. However, recent
actions of the US government, originating from a long-standing and
misguided animus on the part of the US Secret Service, necessitate immediate
action. Specifically, SEB Bank in Estonia has notified G&SR it is
closing its bank account at close of business May 25, 2007 explicitly because
of the Press Release
http://www.usdoj.gov/opa/pr/2007/April/07_crm_301.html from the US
DOJ.
We regret the temporary interruption of OmniPay services. Just as the
US government's recent actions in seizing e-gold accounts of e-gold
Ltd., G&SR, The Bullion Exchange, AnyGoldNow, IceGold, GitGold, The Denver
Gold Exchange, GoldPouch Express and 1MDC (and forcing G&SR to
liquidate the seized assets!) have severely damaged not only these exchange
businesses but also their innumerable customers, their forcing this
complex transition to be performed on an emergency basis is simply shameful.
We do not however regret the transfer of OmniPay responsibilities to
OmniPay Africa. As will become abundantly clear in coming months, the
OmniPay Africa team is highly qualified to guide OmniPay to a higher
level, a genuinely global service that will foster a beneficial surge in
e-gold's emergence while bringing significant advantages to emerging
economies.
Strategic Background
A major strategic emphasis for e-gold is to provide sophisticated
remote payments capabilities to the majority of mankind underserved by or
excluded by the banking system. An important focus is international
remittances - payments from migrant workers living in advanced economies
sending a portion of their earnings to their home country. For many
developing economies, migrant remittances constitute a significant portion of
foreign exchange income and even GDP. Traditional remittance
mechanisms, however, are expensive and inflexible. It is estimated that lowering
the net cost of remittances by a few percentage points could measurably
enhance economic development. There is also increasing awareness that
non-traditional banking such as micro-credit facilities can also aid in
bootstrapping lesser developed economies.
OmniPay Africa, an entirely non-US company, majority owned by prominent
business leaders from the Francophone countries of West Africa, was
therefore organized to extend the usefulness of e-gold by providing
support for over-the-counter exchange and by fostering the integration of
e-gold into micro-credit lending institutions. The combination of e-gold
(settling the international transfer of value with no need for a
financial intermediary) and OmniPay (offering standardized, reliable, low cost
exchange to/from local currency) will serve as a flexible low cost
alternative to the traditional systems. End Omnipay Quote;

E-gold Outchange Fee-
By Digital Gold Card
May 16 --
Due to the excessive redemption time it takes to turn e-gold into cash, our funding fee to process e-gold to your Digital Gold Card has effectively changed to 10%.
It has also come to our attention that people have posted erroneous complaints on public forums against the Digital Gold Card and its redemption process.
Omnipay is the only source to redeem e-gold due to the ongoing legal woes of e-gold.com. The more support tickets we receive regarding this issue, longer redemption times and complaints, the higher
the fee for e-gold redemption will be. It is no secret that Omnipay is backlogged with redemption orders. Due to these circumstances it takes a longer than usual amount of time to redeem e-gold to cash therefore causing a delay
in card funding. It is NO reflection on Digital Gold Card, banks, wallets, card processors, or any other company other than e-gold or omnipay.
Digital Gold Card has a -0- tolerance for people that abuse our services.
If you have a question concerning funding, or any other issue you should only be contacting Digital Gold Card.
Any complaints/inquiries to banks, wallets, card processors, or any other company other than Digital Gold Card will get your card suspended without warning.
Thank you for your patience regarding this issue as we look forward to continuing business under these unusual circumstances.

E-gold -
By Digital Gold Card
April 30 --
E-gold: Due to the recent legal battle surrounding e-gold and omni-pay, we at Digital Gold Card are allowing our customers 24 hours to fund your card using the
e-gold.com payment interface.
On May 2nd 2007 12:00am gmt Digital Gold Card will suspend the use of e-gold until further notice. Digital Gold Card supports e-gold 100% in
their fight to remain the top internet payment system backed by gold. We look forward to accepting the e-gold payment system once again and
will monitor the situation as progress is being made.
Funding: We are using an alternative source to cashout your gold which means above average fees and delayed funding times.
Funds are being wired internationally, wired a second time, and then posted to your card. Approximate funding time is 4-5 days.
If you have large quantities of gold, you can send the maximum card load of $7500 in multiple orders.
We have the ability to outchange as much gold as possible for the next 24 hours.
Other payment systems being considered:
Digital Gold Card is in negotiation to add additional payment systems to our card. It may be possible soon you will have the option of using alertpay, and graphcard
payment platforms. The E-bullion payment interface will remain in use.
Again, Digital Gold Card supports e-gold 100% in their fight to remain the top internet payment system backed by gold. We look forward to accepting the e-gold payment

Unfortunate News for E-gold -
By Digital Gold Card
April 27 --
Breaking News: It is a sad day for the Digital Gold Community. EGold and Gold & Silver Reserve are accused of operating without the proper permits as well as using their digital currency operations to launder money.
Digital Gold Card will still accept e-gold for outchanges. We cannot guarantee gold to card funding times of under 24 hours like it has been. Hopefully things will be back to normal
in the coming weeks for the gold community.

April 27, 2007
A grand jury in Washington, D.C., has indicted two digital currency companies and their owners on charges of money laundering, accusing the companies of helping to fund illegal activities like child pornography and identity theft, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Friday.
The four-count indictment, handed down on April 24 and unsealed Friday, targets EGold; Gold & Silver Reserve; and their owners Douglas L. Jackson, of Satellite Beach, Florida; Reid A. Jackson, of Melbourne, Florida; and Barry K. Downey, of Woodbine, Maryland.
The defendants face charges on one count of conspiracy to launder monetary instruments, one count of conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money transmitting business, one count of operating an unlicensed money transmitting business under federal law, and one count of money transmission without a license under D.C. law.
The DOJ also obtained a restraining order to prevent the defendants from unloading their assets as well 24 seizure warrants on more than 55 accounts believed to be property involved in money laundering and the operation of an unlicensed money transmitting business.
The restraining order does not limit the EGold operation’s ability to use its existing funds to satisfy requests to exchange EGold into national currency for customers of nonseized accounts or its ability to sell precious metals, the DOJ said.
EGold’s digital currency, called EGold, functioned as an alternative payment system and was purportedly backed by stored physical gold, the DOJ said. Customers seeking to use the EGold payment system were only required to provide a valid e-mail address to open an EGold account, and no other contact information was verified.
Customers could then fund their accounts in a number of ways and convert national currency into EGold. Account holders could access their accounts through the Internet and conduct anonymous transactions with other parties anywhere in the world.
The indictment alleges that EGold has been highly favored by operators of investment scams, credit card and identity fraud, and sellers of online child pornography. The defendants conducted funds transfers on behalf of their customers knowing that the funds involved were the proceeds of illegal activity, the DOJ said.
The defendants operated the EGold operation without a license in the District of Columbia or any other state and without registering with the federal government and thereby violated federal and state money transmitting laws, the indictment said.
The conspiracy charge in the case relating to money transmitting and the federal violation of operating an unlicensed money transmitting business each carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison. The District of Columbia Code violation for money transmission without a license carries a maximum sentence of five years. The conspiracy charge relating to money laundering carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
The case is being investigated by the U.S. Secret Service with the assistance of the IRS and the FBI.

Gold May Extend Rally on Investor Demand for Inflation Hedge
By Choy Leng Yeong
March 19 (Bloomberg) -- Gold may rise for a third straight week on speculation that rising energy costs will boost the appeal of the precious metal as a hedge against inflation.
Twenty-three of the 32 traders, investors and analysts surveyed by Bloomberg from Sydney to Chicago on March 15 and March 16 advised buying gold, which rose 0.3 percent to $653.90 an ounce last week on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Three said to sell and five were neutral.
Some investors buy gold to preserve purchasing power in times of accelerating inflation. A separate Bloomberg survey showed 49 percent of respondents expect oil to rebound this week as surging demand and shutdowns of refinery units reduce U.S. gasoline inventories before the peak summer-driving season.
The Bloomberg gold survey has forecast prices accurately in 93 of 151 weeks, or 62 percent.

Gold Falls as Dollar Advances, Reducing Its Investment Appeal
By Pham-Duy Nguyen
March 9 (Bloomberg) -- Gold in New York fell for the first day in four as a gain in the value of the U.S. dollar reduced the appeal of the precious metal as an alternative investment.
Gold often moves in the opposite direction of the dollar, which rose against the yen and euro today after a U.S. government report eased concerns that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates anytime soon. The metal rose 23 percent last year as the dollar fell 7 percent against a basket of six major currencies. Gold is up 2 percent this year while the dollar is little changed.
`The dollar is a little stronger and that could weigh on gold,' said Ron Goodis, director of Equidex Brokerage Group Inc. in Closter, New Jersey.
Gold futures for April delivery fell $3.50, or 0.5 percent, to $652 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange. Prices have risen 1.2 percent this week after tumbling 6.2 percent last week.
A Labor Department report showed U.S. employers hired 97,000 workers in February, after a revised gain of 146,000 in January. That compared with a median forecast of 95,000 in a Bloomberg survey. The Fed has kept rates at 5.25 percent since June.
`The mood of the market has shifted down in the short- term,' said Ralph Preston, a senior analyst at Heritage West Financial Inc. in San Diego. `Anytime the dollar strengthens, it's going to weaken gold's appeal.'
Preston advised his clients to sell their gold positions this week and look for buying opportunities as gold dips to $620.
Oil Prices
Gold's losses may accelerate should lower oil prices reduce gold's appeal as an inflation hedge, analysts said. Oil fell for the second straight day.
`More risks are on the downside for gold, especially if dollar strength and oil weakness bring a test of the recent $633 low,' said Jim Pogoda, an investor in Summit, New Jersey, and a former precious-metals trader for Mitsubishi International Corp. `A move below here would violate the 100-day moving average just above $635 and ignite more speculative long liquidation.'

Gold Extends Last Week's Drop as Asian, European Stocks Slump
By Claudia Carpenter
March 5 (Bloomberg) -- Gold fell to a five-week low on selling by investors holding the precious metal in exchange-traded funds after a slump in Asian and European stocks.
Bullion and platinum futures in Japan dropped the maximum allowed by the Tokyo Commodity Exchange as the Nikkei 225 Stock Average fell the most since June. Investors who own gold in exchange-traded funds tracked by the World Gold Council sold about 0.6 percent of their holdings last week.
`In this type of market, people get nervous,' said Graham Birch, who helps manage about $8 billion in precious-metals equities at BlackRock Investment Management in London. `People are looking to put a bit of money back in the bank.'
Gold for immediate delivery dropped $5.70, or 0.9 percent, to $636.75 an ounce at 11:32 a.m. London time. Earlier, it declined to $636.05, the lowest since Jan. 23. Last week's 5.9 percent decline was the biggest since July 21.
Prices may drop to $630 in the next few days after the metal dropped below last month's low of about $643, said Phil Roberts, chief European technical strategist in London at Barclays Capital. `You don't want to catch a falling knife,' he said.
- Bloomberg article.
Price adjustment: Due to current gold market condition we have adjusted our fee accordingly from 3% to 5% e-gold outchange, 4% to 5% e-bullion outchange. When gold stabilizes the
fee will be reduced accordingly. As with ALL gold sales, rates change rapidly with market conditions.

We sincerely apologize for the unprofessional conduct of our domain register. We expect to have domain digigoldcard.com back
in our possession sometime early this week. It is unfortunate there are people who want to "get ahead" fraudulently
at the cost of others.
Friday Febuary 23, around 2PM central standard time our domain was "hijacked" (To seize control of, by use of force, especially in order to reach an alternate location).
The fraudsters setup a "phishing" web page (the practice of luring unsuspecting Internet users to a fake Web site by using authentic-looking email with the real organization's logo, in an attempt to steal passwords, financial or personal information, or introduce a virus attack; the creation of a Web site replica for fooling unsuspecting Internet users into submitting personal or financial information or passwords) using the domain digigoldcard.com in attempt to collect funds from Digital Gold Card Customers.
As part of our web site security, we e-mailed our customer database immediately issuing a warning.
If you ordered a debit card, or attempted to place funds on your debit card between Feb. 23 Friday 2:00pm CST and Monday 2:00AM CST Please contact us.
What do we need from you? We need you to check your e-gold history. If you made a spend
to e-gold account 4118779 (the fraud account, this account has been blocked and froze by e-gold) you need to contact us immediately.
You may contact us using Live Support.
We are working closely with e-gold to discuss recovery of your funds if you were tricked into spending to the "hijacked" domain.
